As graduation season soon closes there have been celebrities seen and heard from high school graduations, to college graduations. The one that stands out is Lady Gaga’s appearance at her sister Natali’s graduation. It wasn’t just any ordinary appearance Gaga showed up in a beekeeper hat and see-through pants to support her sister’s accomplishment. “Part of going to the graduation in that outfit was her showing the bullies that she has emerged like a swan, she has made something of her life and has found the freedom to express her creativity,” said one of her friends. The question is, is this really the right kind of atmosphere where she should be striving to be the center of attention? Her name itself is suppose to be a lesson for girls, such as being a “Lady” and to express that there is nothing wrong with being a “Lady”. Lady Gaga sure wasn’t a Lady either at a recent New York Yankees baseball game, where she was spotted wearing a team uniform shirt over a bra, panties and fishnet while flipping off the cameras left and right. Now is this what we consider a “Lady”? Sounds like a strikeout instead of a homerun. Let family, friends and fans have their moment as well.

My debut book, “pia…me” is a fashion and lifestyle guide for girl’s who aspire to be their best. It is alot about fashion, how to define your look, make the right shopping decisions, maintain a wardrobe, organize your closet, and all that. My book also provides guidance about other lifestyle decisions young women face such as social networking, dating, habits to avoid, and more.
